Azia App

Azia App - The Azia App was developed to equip Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) with a mobile, guided trial feature and an inventory tracking tool, enabling more efficient monitoring of product transactions and trial performance in the field. The app also includes a replenishment feature, allowing FSRs to seamlessly request additional products from the main warehouse.

Modeled after the existing IQOS system, the Azia App was designed to serve as a centralized solution for all streams, streamlining processes and enhancing usability.

Product Design | App Design | Plugin Design

Led the UX design initiative for the Azia mobile application from discovery to delivery, guiding the design process and collaborating closely with the Project Manager, developers, stakeholders, and Field Sales Representatives. Focused on creating a seamless mobile experience that streamlined guided product trials, inventory tracking, and replenishment workflows while ensuring alignment with existing business processes.

Process & Responsibilities

  • Collaborated with stakeholders to define business requirements and project objectives.

  • Conducted user research and interviews with Field Sales Representatives to understand field workflows and operational challenges.

  • Designed end-to-end user flows and mobile interactions for guided trials, inventory tracking, and replenishment.

  • Managed and guided the design team to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.

  • Worked closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation.

  • Conducted usability testing to validate workflows and gather user feedback.

  • Refined the user experience based on research insights, stakeholder feedback, and technical considerations.

ROLE:

PROBLEM STATE - Before the Azia App, FSRs relied on a combination of spreadsheets, paper forms, messaging applications, and separate systems to complete daily tasks. This created several operational challenges:

  • Product trial activities were difficult to standardize and monitor.

  • Inventory updates were often delayed or manually reconciled.

  • Stock replenishment requests lacked visibility and required multiple communication channels.

  • Managers had limited insight into field performance and inventory movement.

  • Switching between multiple tools increased administrative work and reduced selling time.

These issues affected productivity, reporting accuracy, and the overall customer experience.
